Space Shuttle Bas Relief, Commissioned Work

Shuttle

1234

Commissioned by HMFH, Architects, Boston, MA for the facade of The Early Learning Center, Boston, MA

The three reliefs were designed by HMFH, Architects of Boston. Briggs Design interpreted the architect's designs 3-dimensionally in clay. One relief depicted the World Wide Web, the second a Space Shuttle, and the third a Jumbo Jet. Once the molds were made by Skylight Studios in Woburn, MA, Northern Design Precast made the final cement cast in their Guilford, NH facility. The cement reliefs were installed at the Early Learning Center in Boston, MA. They measure 3' wide x 7' high.
