Mucha Lady, Commissioned Work

Commissioned by Fabricon, Inc. for Bonwitt Teller, Boston, MA

This lady was sculpted directly in plaster over a wood and metal armature. She was 10' tall and adapted from a poster of the Art Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha. The mold and fiberglass casts were made by Fabricon, Inc. of NYC. When completed, two casts of the lady went to the Bonwitt Teller store in Boston, MA.
