Griffin Arch, Commissioned Work

The Griffin is a fabulous mythological beast with the head and wings of an eagle and the body of a lion. The Griffin is hand carved and laminated using eight varieties of domestic and exotic hardwoods. It measures x 16'' wide x 30" high x 16" long. The Griffin is a one of a kind sculpture that presently resides in a private collection. Jeff combined casts of the Griffin wood sculpture with historic casts to create a Griffin Arch.
